Title: Barback
Job Description: A Barback, or Bartender Assistant, supports bartenders by ensuring all necessary supplies and tools are available for efficient customer service. Responsibilities include restocking liquor, glasses, and other supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and handling equipment such as kegs and ice wells. This is a part-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins, and other necessary items before and during service hours.
- Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and restock napkins and straws.
- Clean spills, remove glassware, and organize the counter.
- Maintain a neat and clean bar area.
- Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff, and security personnel for efficient service.
- Handle emergency situations such as cleaning broken glass and clearing clogged drains.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Legal age to serve alcohol (21 years old).
- Physically fit to meet job demands, including lifting liquor boxes and standing for long periods.
- Strong knowledge of bar menu items.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Friendly, responsible, and punctual.
- Vaccinated for Hepatitis A as per City Ordinance.
Requirements: Candidates must be at least 21 years old, physically fit for lifting and standing, hold a high school diploma or GED, be vaccinated for Hepatitis A, and available for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
