Job Description

S&L Hospitality is currently accepting applications for a Bartender at our onsite restaurant. Ideal candidates will have prior experience, be highly motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about working with people. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities include:

Verifying patrons are of legal drinking age by checking identification according to state/local laws.
Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies regularly throughout the shift.
Entering orders into POS, collecting payments, and balancing the cash drawer.
Maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance and bar area at all times.

Key Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old, as required by local/state laws for serving alcohol.
Ability to lift, push, or pull over 30 lbs, occasionally more than 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions during the majority of the shift.
Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to maintain a composed, professional attitude and work well under pressure.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and licenses.
Previous beverage service experience preferred.

This position is subject to successful completion of a background check related to the responsibilities of the role.
