Job Description
Title: Bartender
Job Location: Statesville, NC 28625 Position Type: Part Time Job Shift: Hourly
Job Summary: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory of alcoholic beverages (including wines), non-alcoholic beverages, mixers, glassware, paper, and other bar supplies.
- Inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies.
- Order additional supplies as needed, including liquor, beer, and wines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and banquet areas, glassware, and equipment through regular inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all laws applicable to beverage operations.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Manager and other staff to provide efficient beverage service in all club outlets and special functions.
- Assist with banquet functions and food and beverage service when necessary.
- Stay current with changing member preferences and industry trends.
- Prepare garnishes, mix, and pre-mix drinks.
- Collect payments for drinks served.
- Clean and secure the bar area according to procedures.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage bar supplies and handle payments.
- Capability to assist with banquet functions.
- Awareness of industry trends and member preferences.
