Title: Bartender
Job Location: Statesville Golf & Country Club - Statesville, NC 28625 Position Type: Part Time Job Shift: Hourly
Job Summary: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining bar inventory and cleanliness. Provide efficient beverage service for club outlets and special banquet functions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory system for alcoholic beverages (including wines), non-alcoholic beverages, mixers, glassware, paper, and other bar supplies.
- Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Order additional supplies as necessary (liquor, beer, wines, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar, banquet areas, glassware, and equipment through regular inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable beverage operation laws.
- Collaborate with Banquet Manager and staff to ensure efficient beverage service in all club outlets and special functions.
- Assist with banquet functions and service in food and beverage areas when necessary.
- Stay current with changing member preferences and industry trends related to beverage operations.
- Prepare garnishes, mix and serve drinks.
- Collect payments and handle transactions.
- Clean and secure the bar area according to procedures.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow beverage operation laws and maintain sanitation standards.
- Skill in handling payments.
- Awareness of industry trends and member preferences.
