Position Summary: The Bartender will prepare the bar for regular service and special events, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain inventory, and clean the bar area. The ideal candidate is positive, responsible, and guest-focused.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks/drinks
- Operate a cash register and balance the cash drawer
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar and lounge areas
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
- Prior bartending and food service experience required
- Ability to communicate positively and friendly with patrons
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Availability to work weekends, nights, and some weekdays
- Must pass alcohol serving course within 60 days of hire
- Must be at least 21 years old
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- May require standing or sitting for extended periods
- Work environment may include intermittent noise
