Title: Bartender
Location: Albuquerque Embassy Suites 1000 Woodward Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Position: Part-time Compensation: Starting at $9.50 per hour. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
Job Description: As a Bartender, you will craft and serve beverages efficiently while ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for. You are responsible for the responsible service of alcohol in compliance with liquor laws and company policies. Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies, prepping garnishes, and completing daily opening and closing duties including accurate cash and tip reporting are essential tasks. You will also keep the workspace sanitized and adhere to all food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Craft and serve beverages with skill and speed
- Ensure responsible alcohol service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Restock supplies and prepare garnishes
- Complete daily opening and closing tasks
- Handle cash and tip reporting accurately
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months bartending experience (hospitality background preferred)
- Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
