Title: Bartender - Hotel Arts Barcelona
Position Summary: Prepare and serve drink orders for guests following specified recipes using measuring systems. Open and serve wine and champagne bottles. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tables, and tools. Prepare fresh garnishes and ensure bar stock, including ice, glassware, and supplies. Wash soiled glassware and clear used wares from bar top and tables. Communicate replenishment needs promptly.
Handle all payment methods, count cash bank at shift end, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, secure receipts, and lock away cash and inventory. Secure liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas. Complete all closing duties.
Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required training. Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold confidentiality. Greet guests warmly, anticipate and address their needs, and thank them sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members. Support teammates to achieve common goals and address concerns appropriately. Ensure adherence to quality standards.
Physical Requirements: Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds. Manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills. Navigate confined spaces, uneven surfaces, stairs, and ramps. Perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as needed. Other duties as assigned.
