POSITION PROFILE

Responsible for setting up, mixing drinks, serving guests, and cleaning the bar area while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and the achievement and maintenance of company standards and profit maximization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures, and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.
Perform all guest interactions in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, maintaining commitment to guest satisfaction.
Check customer identification to confirm legal drinking age.
Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges according to company policies and procedures.
Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
Know and comply with state liquor laws; obtain TIPS certification.
Ensure established inventory pars are maintained.
Perform all side work duties according to schedules.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Three to six months of experience in a food and beverage service environment.
Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, printouts, written instructions, and observe the entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
Ability to mix cocktails correctly and provide wine service.
Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift, push, and carry 20 to 40 lbs.
Stand continuously for long periods.
Communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests.
