Job Title: Cocktail Server – Part-Time – Vinyl Room

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Cocktail Server for the Vinyl Room. The ideal candidate will have exceptional bottle and wine service skills, experience in upscale dining and nightlife venues, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

Deliver upscale bottle and wine service to Vinyl Room Members, Live Nation executives, and VIPs with professionalism and attention to detail.
Provide knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations and up-sell menu items.
Manage guest orders, communicate with bar staff via the Point of Sale (POS) system, and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, including removing dirty glasses, cleaning spills, and following House of Blues and Vinyl Room policies.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and refuse service when necessary in a courteous manner.
Assist team members and attend pre-shift meetings.
Follow grooming and dress code standards at all times.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience serving in an upscale dining or nightlife venue, including 2 years of bottle service experience.
Valid Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexible schedule with availability to work late hours.
Proficient with POS systems and cash handling.
Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently with an upbeat and friendly attitude.
Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktail recipes, garnishes, and culinary terms.
Ability to handle intoxicated guests safely and professionally.
Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs using proper techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

Interest in wines, spirits, mixology, and nightlife.
Experience in live music environments.
Experience verifying valid IDs.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Fast-paced, often loud and stressful environment.
Prolonged periods of standing required.
Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
