Bartender

At SSP America, our Bartenders engage with guests while serving hand-crafted beverages and delicious food. Our bartenders stay current with trends in the alcoholic beverage industry and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Use recipes and practice portion control to mix, garnish, and present drinks.
- Input orders into the POS system and create checks for each guest.
- Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and ensure proper execution of vouchers.
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup at all times.
- Maintain stock, prepare, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure quality.
- Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcoholic beverages.
- Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain health standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year bartending experience.
- Certification by state, federal, or local training program.
- Valid food handler and alcoholic beverage server permits as required by law.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcoholic beverage service.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
- Basic math skills to operate cash register and handle transactions.
- Ability to recall and promote menu items.
