Job Description
Title: TS-Barback
Key Responsibilities:
- Support bartenders during service by ensuring the bar remains fully stocked, organized, and pristine.
- Maintain inventory of spirits, wine, glassware, ice, and garnishes throughout service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar, including restocking and cleaning.
- Uphold Tallow’s standards of polish and presentation at all times.
- Deliver bar supplies and glassware efficiently and carefully, maintaining pace and accuracy during peak hours.
- Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all bar areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and management to support smooth service flow.
- Embody professionalism, urgency, and teamwork, treating the bar as an extension of Our House.
Qualifications:
- Prior bar support or restaurant experience preferred; high-volume or fine dining background a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certification in the state of New York.
