Title: Barback (Part-Time)

Starting Salary: $11.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Monitor guest alcohol consumption and behavior, alerting staff when necessary.
Provide guests with information about events and programs.
Maintain par levels of supplies and equipment for each bar, obtaining stock from warehouse inventory according to procedures.
Store liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, paper supplies, and sundries properly, following storage and safety guidelines.
Replace empty draft beer kegs as needed.
Lift and stock cases of beer, kegs, and other bar products.
Maintain inventory of all bar-related products.
Stock team member dining room supplies (cups, utensils, condiments, paper towels).
Clean and stock beverage stations on the gaming floor.
Fill designated ice bins as needed.
Operate and maintain equipment and tools per safety guidelines.
Remove and properly dispose of trash from designated areas.
Clean counters, sinks, and mop floors to maintain a safe workspace.
Maintain cleanliness according to health and safety standards.
Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must obtain required licenses and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Provide fast, friendly, and professional service to guests and coworkers.
Resolve customer service issues efficiently while adhering to company policies.
Maintain a well-groomed appearance.
Ability to use and control various mechanical equipment.
Strong sense of urgency in performing duties.

Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting English safety and procedure documents.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
Vision needs include close, color, and peripheral vision.
Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical activity such as bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
Must be drug-free.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise level.
Under video and limited audio surveillance.
Possible exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke.
