Title: Bartender - Alcove Summit Park

Position Summary: The Bartender creates memorable beverage experiences that exceed guest expectations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. As a key member of our bar and service team, they craft thoughtful drinks and genuine connections that bring people together. Location: Blue Ash, OH Status: Part-Time, Full-Time Reports To: Assistant General Manager Compensation Range: $5.50 + tips

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support bar and restaurant operations by executing functions in accordance with MadTree Alcove standards, guest expectations, and event specifications.
Responsible for setup and clean-up of the bar area.
Provide beverage service and maintain housekeeping throughout shifts.
Prepare food garnishes for cocktails as needed.
Monitor and stock all supplies and product inventory behind the bar.
Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption to ensure a safe experience.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Serve as a consultant to guests to educate and help them select beverages.
Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible, contributing to 100% customer satisfaction.
Assist with additional service tasks such as polishing glassware and silverware, running food, bussing tables, and keeping the restaurant clean.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Participate in paid volunteering for MadTree Impact initiatives, encouraging teammates to do the same.

Qualification Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience in a high-volume bar and/or restaurant is strongly preferred.
Elevated knowledge of craft beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with standard drink recipes.
Comfortable working independently, multitasking, and maintaining efficiency under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Typical bar and restaurant setting.
Occasional work near hazardous materials.
Occasional work on wet floors and with wet conditions.
