Job Description
Position: Bartender
Overview: Nestled in the heart of Columbus' historic German Village, Sycamore is an all-day café and restaurant. We are seeking a friendly, upbeat, and customer-focused bartender who thrives in a positive work environment and delivers high standards with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with guests and the local community
- Respond to patrons' needs promptly
- Acquire extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Ensure guest safety by monitoring alcohol consumption and checking identification
- Establish rapport with new and regular customers
- Mix cocktails accurately using correct measurements for liquor and ingredients
- Follow all safety, sanitation procedures, and restaurant protocols
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience with high-end cocktail mixing
- Basic computer literacy and math skills
- Wine and coffee knowledge are a plus but not required
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and select holidays
