Title: Full Time Bartender

Job Summary: Serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Prepare beverages for other servers and act as cashier for the lounge.

Essential Job Functions:

Greet guests courteously and promote drink orders.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes with portion control.
Maintain daily bar setup, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections.
Manage stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality.
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, record transactions, and ensure proper voucher execution for balanced funds.
Secure beverages, food, equipment, deposit cash drops, and lock bank at closing.
Answer bar phone promptly, take room service orders courteously, input orders into register, and maintain accountability for all beverages served.
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned.
Adhere to all company policies, safety, and security procedures.
Know fire prevention and emergency procedures.
Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions or incidents to supervisor.
Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance as per team member standards.
Assist other beverage personnel as needed and perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Current Food Handler Card.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
Basic math skills to operate cash register, make change, total guest checks, and understand portion sizes.
Basic English writing skills for completion of requisitions and vouchers.
Manual dexterity for garnishing, handling glassware and bottles, scooping ice, mixing drinks, and retrieving stock.
Ability to understand customer inquiries and communicate simple instructions in English.
Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions.
Ability to remember and promote menu items.
Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.

Physical Demands:

Ability to transport up to 30 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
Maximum lifting of 30 lbs.
Constant standing and walking.
Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.

Must possess a current Food Handler Card and knowledge of liquor regulations regarding minors and intoxication. Requires basic math skills for cash handling and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
