About the role
Eskimo Joe's is looking for an enthusiastic and upbeat experienced bartender to join their team. Bartenders are responsible for providing the best dining and bar experience to every guest by consistently crafting drinks according to recipes. They must be friendly, outgoing, organized, and able to think and act quickly while maintaining a positive attitude.
Available shifts include:
- Lunch: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Dinner: 3:45 PM - 10:30 PM
- Late-night bar hours: 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Candidates must be able to work a variety of lunch, dinner, and late-night shifts, with a minimum of 3 complete shifts per week.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience
- Positive and upbeat personality creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Deliver high-level customer service while practicing responsible serving
- Maintain a clean bar and perform all opening and closing duties to high standards
- Must obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Punctual and reliable with flexible availability
- Strong listening and multitasking skills
- Teamwork mentality and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Standing and walking for 8+ hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Additional Information:
- All team members must use direct deposit for paychecks
- Grooming and dress standards include neatly trimmed facial hair, socks and slip-resistant shoes, tasteful earrings or discreet nose studs only, and neat hair pulled back if serving food or beverages
- Employees should be available to work half of major university holidays and most Saturdays, especially during OSU game days and community special events
