Title: Bartender - Seasonal

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Introduce guests to new beers and educate them about the brewing process and brewing vessels
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages efficiently and accurately
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
Operate with urgency to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere
Demonstrate leadership by encouraging cooperation and offering assistance
Uphold brand standards and promote a positive, inclusive environment
Set up and close the bar using assigned checklists
Know the food menu and ingredient substitutions
Participate in monthly educational and training meetings
Assist servers and bussers by expediting food and drinks when possible
Communicate effectively with guests and team members
Exercise proper cash handling and till use
Monitor guest well-being to prevent over-serving

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bartender or similar customer service role
Extensive knowledge of craft beers, brewing processes, and beverage preparation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Strong team player with leadership qualities and positive attitude
Flexible to work seasonal hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required
Food service experience, preferably in a brewery-restaurant setting

Job Requirements:

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Certifications: OLCC Service Permit, Oregon Food Handler, Cicerone Level 1 Certified Beer Server
Drug-free
Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform frequent grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand/arm movements
Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
