Responsibilities:

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to bar and restaurant patrons.
Serve wine, draft, and bottled beer.
Order and replenish liquor and bar supplies.
Arrange bottled goods and glasses attractively.
Prepare garnishes such as sliced or pitted fruit.
Prepare appetizers as needed.
Conduct monthly inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Comply with all company policies, brand standards, and local, state, and federal regulations including safety laws.
Identify valid in-state and out-of-state identification for alcoholic beverage service.
Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and complaints.
Maintain a positive, professional appearance and demeanor.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Previous bartending experience required.
TABC certification required; additional training per brand and local regulations.
Knowledge of food service regulations.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to mix common cocktails.
Proficient English speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Environment and Physical Demands:

Work is primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
Requires standing and walking for up to an 8-hour shift; occasional sitting.
May require finger dexterity, grasping, writing, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels, outdoor weather, and occasionally hazardous materials.

Additional Information:

Schedule varies based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Attendance at required trainings and meetings is mandatory.
Consistent attendance is essential and subject to disciplinary action if not met.
