Job Summary: Terra Mae is seeking a visionary and highly organized Lead Bartender to head our beverage program and cultivate a high-standard service culture. You will oversee bar operations and the bar team at Terra Mae and assist with bar operations for all Food & Beverage outlets at Cascada. Responsibilities include ensuring consistency and quality through creative menu development, inventory management, and delivering an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Acquire deep knowledge of the food and drink menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and cultural background to provide informed recommendations.
Collaborate with the bar team to design cocktails that complement the Portuguese-Japanese fusion menu.
Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, and other beverages with precision and creativity.
Monitor pour costs, minimize waste, and manage inventory accurately.
Take and input food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
Ensure appealing food and drink presentation showcasing quality and artistry.
Manage vendor relationships and maintain fully stocked bar(s).
Keep dining and bar areas tidy, refill drinks, and clear dishes as needed.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Suggest menu items, pairings, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Handle payments accurately and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
Train service team on spirits, wine pairings, and the stories behind each drink.
Lead by example, maintaining a calm and commanding presence during high-volume shifts.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or upscale dining environment required.
Active Food Handlers and Alcohol Certification required.
Passion for food, beverages, and cultural fusion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Effective multitasking abilities and a positive attitude.
