Job Summary: We are seeking a Bartender Mixologist to join our team. In this role, you will take customer orders, make drink recommendations, craft a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, and maintain a clean and inviting bar area. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-service oriented, and passionate about mixology.
Responsibilities:
- Take drink orders from customers
- Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and comply with all state and federal alcohol laws
- Collect payments and operate the cash register
- Order, maintain, and restock bar supplies and ingredients
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and mopping the bar area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mixologist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and innovation in cocktail creation
- Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining restaurants or upscale bars
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail crafting techniques, and classic drink recipes
- Deep understanding of wines, varietals, regions, and wine service etiquette
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending preferred
- Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
