Title: Banquet Bartender

Job Summary: As a Banquet Bartender, you will maintain beverage control, serve drinks accurately, and keep the bar area clean and organized. Deliver exceptional service that meets or exceeds club standards and enhances the member and guest experience by consistently applying the 3-steps of service.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of service as outlined in the Food & Beverage training program.
Assist with serving food and beverages to members and guests at the bar.
Greet members by name and provide a warm, personalized experience.
Accurately prepare and deliver member and guest orders promptly.
Address and resolve complaints professionally, notifying management as needed.
Prepare and stock the bar area for service, including bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including regular sanitizing.
Complete daily assignments and side work to meet club standards.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, daily features, and specials.
Ensure proper stocking and responsible management of liquor inventory to maintain beverage control.
Possess and maintain clear knowledge of all liquors, beers, and wines available.
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness preferred.
Previous experience in food and beverage service.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Commitment to high ethical work standards.
Basic bar and wine knowledge, including cocktails and wine varietals.
Ability to open wine bottles with proper tools.
Comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Work in varying temperatures with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Effective communication including talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

Trays (up to 60 lbs)
POS system
Bottle opener
Wine tool
Blender
Bar dishwasher

Work Schedule:

Attendance as outlined on the weekly schedule.
Additional hours may be required including weekends and holidays.
