Compensation This is not a tipped position and does not qualify for service charges or discretionary performance bonuses.

Overview Serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on event needs.
Manage stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
Comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate alcohol service regulations.
Input orders into the point-of-sale system, create checks, and maintain beverage accountability.
Handle cash transactions accurately, verify charges, and balance money.
Secure all beverage, food, and equipment items, and manage bank deposits.
Adhere to attendance policies and be regularly available to work.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Hotel experience preferred.
Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcohol service.
Basic math skills to operate a cash register, make change, and balance accounts.
Manual dexterity to prepare garnishes, handle glassware, and mix drinks.
Ability to recall and promote menu items.
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in confined spaces.
Ability to establish effective working relationships.
Effective verbal and written communication adaptable to various audiences.
