Title: Bartender / Server PT
Location: International Club - Murrells Inlet, SC

Position Summary: The Server provides courteous, efficient service to meet or exceed guests’ dining expectations. The Bartender mixes and serves drinks, ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and delivers exceptional food and beverage service.
- Provide excellent guest service for a pleasant dining experience.
- Complete training and adhere to service standards.
- Greet guests promptly and courteously.
- Verify legal age for alcohol purchase and consumption; prevent overconsumption.
- Learn and communicate menu items, including specials.
- Prepare simple food items (e.g., sandwiches, hot dogs) as needed.
- Use suggestive selling techniques.
- Process food and beverage orders accurately.
- Monitor guest needs and respond promptly.
- Collect payments and perform tip declarations.
- Maintain cleanliness and complete opening/closing duties.
- Manage inventory and proper stock rotation.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Provide your own cash bank (recommended $100-$150 in change).
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Foster a positive environment to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies and attempt to minimize risks associated with customer intoxication.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Local and state required licenses.
- Minimum one year experience bartending or in food and beverage.
- Ability to operate POS systems, calculate figures, and handle cash.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Maintain professional appearance, hygiene, and follow sanitary practices.
- Must meet minimum legal age for serving alcohol.
- TIPS and ServSafe Certifications required or willingness to obtain after hire.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent reaching, bending, handling, and other physical tasks related to the job.
Work Environment: Work is performed in fast-paced restaurant/bar environments including evenings, weekends, and holidays with multiple interruptions. Pressure to serve quickly and efficiently is common.
