Title: Banquet Bartender

Responsibilities:

Set up banquet bar stations according to event specifications and Southall standards, including proper stocking of beverages, mixers, garnishes, and bar tools.
Greet guests warmly and professionally, take beverage orders, and prepare cocktails following standard recipes and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout events, adhering to “clean as you go” and teamwork policies.
Accurately follow all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring beverage requirements are met.
Secure and account for equipment and supplies after each shift, including cash handling and bar breakdown.
Collaborate with the Banquet Captain and team to ensure seamless event execution and respond to guest needs.
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
Polish glassware, prepare garnishes, and deliver beverage service to Southall’s luxury standards.
Communicate guest feedback, challenges, and inventory needs professionally and efficiently.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Calm, diplomatic, and guest-focused under pressure.
Professional appearance and courteous manner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Experience in banquet operations or luxury/Forbes-rated environments is a plus.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
T.I.P.S. or TABC certification required or must obtain upon hire.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
