Position Profile: The bartender is responsible for setting up, mixing drinks, serving guests, and maintaining a clean bar area. This role ensures quality service, guest satisfaction, adherence to company standards, and profit maximization.

Essential Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines, procedures, and safety controls.
Perform guest interactions in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner.
Check customers’ identification to verify legal drinking age.
Process guest checks, cash, credits, and room charges accurately according to company policies.
Complete liquor requisitions and maintain inventory supply lists.
Comply with state liquor laws and obtain TIPS certification.
Ensure established inventory pars are maintained.
Complete all assigned side work according to schedule.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school education or equivalent.
Three to six months of experience in food and beverage service.
Ability to clearly view detailed guest checks, computer printouts, and observe the environment under dim lighting.
Competence in mixing cocktails and providing wine service.
Manual coordination to operate equipment and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, push, or carry 20 to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication with management, staff, and guests.
