Job Description

Title: Barback

The Barback provides friendly and excellent service to every guest while ensuring the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare bar recipes according to brand specifications and anticipated business.
Follow proper mug rotation to ensure frozen mugs are available 100% of the time.
Perform detailed cleaning and maintenance of balon equipment such as soccer balls, bases, spouts, magnets, and chill sticks.
Assist bartenders in maintaining a consistent flow of service to guests and cocktail servers.
Ensure the bar and floors are clean, and used glassware is promptly removed from bar tops.
Clear and wipe down tables in lounge areas when servers are not present.
Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with Health Department standards.
Check glass washers for proper chemical mixture and volume.
Maintain par stock levels by placing orders for wine, champagne, beer, liquor, and perishables at the start of shifts.
Receive and deliver products to appropriate outlets and stock according to specifications.
Stock server wells with all required products and supplies.
Cut fruit to specification and prepare condiment caddies.
Collect trash from all outlets throughout the shift and clean walls behind trash containers.
Distribute clean bar towels and collect soiled ones for proper disposal.
Collect excess glasses from bars and restock them according to specifications.
Organize and clean pump rooms, coolers, and storage areas.
Sweep and mop floors in pump rooms, coolers, and storage areas.
Soak and clean soda bag-in-box hoses and nozzles.
Replace and rotate draught beer kegs.
Attend and complete all required training.
Ensure customer satisfaction by engaging with guests in a friendly manner and answering any questions.

Requirements:

Ability to maintain Health Department standards.
Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, cleaning, and organizing.
Ability to follow brand-specific recipes and operational procedures.

Responsibilities: The Barback supports bartenders by keeping the bar area clean, stocked, and organized and ensuring a smooth flow of service to guests.
