Job Description
Title: Bartender
The Bartender provides beverage and food service in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on guest satisfaction. Bartenders must perform duties quickly, accurately, and consistently while working as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all image and costume guidelines.
- Interact with and entertain guests.
- Prepare beverages according to company specifications.
- Ensure all guests have their drinking age verified.
- Operate a POS system to process sales, handle cash and credit payments, and provide accurate receipts and change.
- Maintain accurate records, including cash-out and tip reports.
- Monitor guests for visible intoxication or suspicious behavior and follow appropriate protocols, including notifying supervisors or security.
- Keep the work area clean by maintaining the bar, removing dishware and trash, and performing light housekeeping duties.
- Complete setup, side work, and closing procedures, including stocking supplies and ensuring the bar/lounge is in optimal condition for the next shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
