Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary: The Barback is responsible for receiving and replenishing all liquor, beer, and wine from storage and ensuring the bar is fully stocked with food, beverages, and garnishes throughout the shift. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and order in the bar and lounge areas and assisting bartenders with beverage preparation and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and restock liquor, beer, and wine from storeroom daily and as needed
Retrieve food items from the kitchen and deliver to the bar area
Retrieve beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to the bar
Set up bottles on the bar, placing top-shelf liquor on the back shelf
Ensure beer taps are functioning properly
Place bar snacks on counters and maintain supplies like snacks and napkins throughout the shift
Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
Bus tables in the bar area
Maintain cleanliness by washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, floors, sweeping, and mopping service areas
Remove rubbish from receptacles
Prepare and serve beverages to assist bartenders as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, mopping, and standing for extended periods
Capable of handling opening and closing side work
