Overview The Bartender is responsible for cultivating strong guest relationships and delivering operational excellence at a Casa de Montecristo location. This role is part of a team that strives to exceed high standards of results.

Responsibilities

Provide a world-class guest experience in the bar, restaurant, smoking lounges, and overall location through exemplary service and sales skills. Act as a Casa de Montecristo brand ambassador.
Build and maintain relationships with customers by effectively communicating product features, benefits, and promotional information.
Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results; become a trusted expert in the bar and consistently work as part of a team to exceed sales and KPI goals.
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Casa de Montecristo products.
Assist in store operations including accurate pouring, stock control, and product maintenance.
Execute corporate initiatives efficiently, timely, and resourcefully.
Follow all Casa de Montecristo policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and comply with state and local regulations.
Maintain visual and cleanliness standards to support the brand image, ensuring a comfortable, responsible, and safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience required.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
Knowledge of wine, liquor, and spirits; bartender certification a plus or required if applicable.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Hands-on team player with a strong work ethic.
Maintain any required licenses and certifications as mandated by state law.
Passionate about delivering a stellar guest experience.
Proven track record of meeting challenging sales and operational goals.
Demonstrated flexibility and emotional intelligence to adapt to frequently changing business conditions with energy and accountability.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Regular exposure to smoke or airborne particles; occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.
Moderate noise levels.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or sitting.
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include the ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range USD $13.00 - $15.00 per hour.

Candidates must have previous bartending experience and proficiency with POS systems. A strong knowledge of wine, liquor, and spirits is required, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
