Job Description
Title: Bartender
The bartender is responsible for providing beverage and food service in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Bartenders must perform their duties quickly, accurately, and consistently while working effectively as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all image and costume guidelines.
- Interact with and entertain guests.
- Ensure timely and efficient drink service.
- Prepare all beverages according to company specifications.
- Verify the drinking age of all guests.
- Operate the POS system to process sales, handle cash/credit payments, and provide receipts.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including cash-out and tip reports.
- Monitor guests for signs of intoxication or suspicious behavior and follow appropriate protocols, including notifying supervisors or security.
- Keep the work area clean by maintaining the bar, removing dishware and trash, and performing light housekeeping duties.
- Complete set-up, side work, and closing procedures, including stocking supplies and ensuring the bar/lounge is in optimal condition for the next shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
