Title: Part-Time Bartender | DoubleTree by Hilton DFW North | Irving, TX
What You’ll Do: For weary travelers, you’re more than a bartender. You’re a friendly face at the end of a long flight or a stressful day. In addition to expertly mixing cocktails and serving ice-cold drafts, you are an ambassador for the hotel.
You will prepare drinks, take orders, and serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar. You will use your food and beverage expertise combined with knowledge of the city to create an unforgettable guest experience.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions
- Creating and serving creative and tasty drinks
- Knowing when to engage with guests and when to be discreet
- Serving snacks and food items at the bar
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience
- Current Food Handler permit and TABC permit
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and think quickly
Working Conditions: You will be on your feet for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds. The job requires walking, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs. Flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings, are necessary.
