Title: Bartender (Full-Time) | Wolfe's Hotel | Moab, UT

Applicants must be at least 21 years old as alcohol will be on premises.

Wolfe's Hotel is located in Moab, offering unparalleled access to outdoor resources such as Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point State Park, and the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Moab is a popular destination for hiking, mountain biking, off-roading, rafting, kayaking, astronomy, geology, and nature photography.

The hotel is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation, transforming the former Motel 6 Moab into a luxury boutique hotel targeting outdoor and adventure-seeking guests. Guest rooms are being renovated to a 4-star specification. The lobby and pool area will feature a full bar and café with enhanced indoor and outdoor common areas.

Essential Job Functions:

Greet guests warmly, promote house drinks, and use up-selling techniques to maximize revenue.
Manage bartender’s bank, process cash and credit payments, provide accurate change, and balance cash drawer.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure teamwork and quality service.
Prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards to ensure consistency and control costs.
Coordinate food service for bar/lounge guests when applicable.
Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption; refuse service when necessary and check IDs for age verification.
Report service or safety issues to management and perform service recovery actions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Set up and maintain the bar area, including liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
Conduct inventory of liquor and beverages; secure all liquor before, during, and after shifts.
Maintain cleanliness and orderly appearance of the bar and equipment.
Follow all company policies, safety standards, and attend mandatory meetings.
Perform pre- and post-shift side work, cross-training, and other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, or handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequent movement around the bar, lounge, and kitchen areas.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift as needed.
