Title: Bartender

Overview: The Bartender is responsible for providing beverage hospitality and services in the bar, lounge, and other social areas within the community. This role includes greeting guests, assisting with beverage selections, serving residents, family members, and guests, while maintaining a positive, safe, and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide hospitality beverage service to residents, family members, and guests, exceeding Sunrise hospitality standards.
Assist residents with beverage selections and respond to related questions.
Practice safe and sanitary food and beverage handling.
Monitor and report any changes in resident beverage consumption or condition to the supervisor.
Encourage social activities with residents while refraining from alcohol consumption during duty.
Follow the Sunrise "No Gifts or Tips" policy strictly.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including clearing and resetting tables.
Prepare and restock the bar and lounge for service.
Coordinate inventory needs with the supervisor according to procurement procedures.
Adhere to all safety, risk management, and infection control protocols.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community engagement activities.

Requirements:

Experience in dining services and bartending preferred.
Certification may be required based on state or provincial regulations.
Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol (18-21 years depending on location).
Strong decision-making and judgment skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational and time management proficiency.
