Job Description
The Rose Gaming Resort is a $480 million gaming and entertainment complex located alongside I-95 in Dumfries, Virginia. It features a luxury hotel, eight bars and restaurants, meeting and event spaces, over 50,000 square feet of gaming area, more than 1,650 Historical Horse Racing machines, and 80+ acres of green space. The resort employs over 500 team members and generates approximately $35.5 million in annual tax revenues.
Job Summary: Support bar operations at this luxury gaming and entertainment resort. Assist bartenders in maintaining efficiency and cleanliness in beverage service areas.
Responsibilities:
- Support bartenders by restocking supplies and maintaining organized bar stations
- Clean and maintain bar areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar events and service areas
- Ensure timely removal of empty bottles, glasses, and waste
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with barback duties, including lifting and prolonged standing
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
