Essential Job Functions:

Experience with beer, wine, and liquor is required; familiarity with Micros POS system is a plus.
Learn guests' names and use them to provide personalized service; remember regular guests’ favorite drinks.
Inspect restaurant and stations before, during, and after shift for proper set-up, side work, and cleanliness. Maintain sanitation procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with the Chef and Manager regarding the menu, special requests, and service timing.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items, including garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilize suggestive selling techniques, input orders into the POS system, and coordinate with the bar and kitchen.
Deliver and serve orders promptly, replenish beverages, and clear tables as guests finish.
Regularly check back with guests to anticipate needs and resolve any issues; report all complaints and operational problems to management.
Serve food and beverages according to established quality, appearance, temperature, and portion standards.
Use proper measuring techniques for drinks (no free pouring) to control bar costs.
Present checks promptly and adhere to all cash, credit, and tip reporting procedures.
Follow all regulations related to the handling, storage, and service of alcoholic beverages.
Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
Maintain a strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, service standards, and etiquette.
Understand service ware and food and beverage equipment used in beverage preparation.
Manage own station and ensure proper execution of service among team members.
Be aware of hotel functions and special events.
Help maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and bar.

Requirements:
