Job Description
Title: Bartender - Colonial Downs
Pay Range: $12.50 per hour
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in the bar area. This role requires adherence to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including serving alcohol responsibly and only to those of legal age.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes.
- Set up bar areas, requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, glassware, condiments, and other supplies.
- Maintain fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables.
- Greet guests courteously and check identification for alcohol service.
- Detect and respond appropriately to guest intoxication.
- Handle cash transactions, verify charges, and maintain accurate records.
- Secure beverage products, food, equipment, and cash deposits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area to health and safety standards.
- Arrange bottles and glasses for an attractive display.
- Wash and sterilize glassware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to comply with all liquor laws and regulations regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
- Ability to process payments accurately.
