Now Hiring: Bartender

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome customers, understand beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take orders
Inform customers about new beverages and specials
Know all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to accurately respond to questions and upsell where appropriate
Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages
Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages in compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws and food safety regulations
Take inventory and order supplies to keep bar and tables well-stocked
Prepare and serve menu items according to Fogo de Chão recipes and guidelines
Manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently, clean and clear tables
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately, balance cash register
Educate self and assist co-workers in basic bar knowledge such as wine and liquor varieties
Perform all reasonable tasks assigned by management

Physical Demands: Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged hours. High endurance, mental acuity, and ability to manage conflict and stress are required.
