Hourly Wage: $2.13
Tipped/Service Charge Eligible: Yes

Overview As a bartender, you will serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain proper bar setup daily, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections.
Manage stock, cut, and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
Comply with all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations for serving alcoholic beverages.
Process orders at point of sale, create checks for each guest, and maintain beverage accountability.
Handle cash transactions accurately, verify charges, and ensure proper execution of vouchers to balance money.
Secure all beverage, food, and equipment items; perform cash drops and secure the bank.
Comply with attendance policies and be reliably available to work.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Preferred experience in hotel environments.
Strong communication skills with guests.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
Basic math skills for cash handling and register operation.
Manual dexterity to handle garnishes, glassware, ice, and stock.
Ability to remember and promote menu items.
Proficiency with keyboard and point of sale systems.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Effective verbal and written communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
