Job Description
Title: Elks Temple Pub Bartender
McMenamins Elks Temple is hiring a Bartender. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside good pub fare. Our locations range from neighborhood pubs to historic hotels, emphasizing community, art, history, music, food, drink, and fun. Responsibilities:
- Handle all tasks from opening to closing the bar
- Serve food, pour and serve beer, wine, and spirits
- Operate cash register and POS system
- Wait on and bus tables
- Wash dishes and restock supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and complete books after shifts
- Maintain excellent customer relations
- Perform all cashiering duties
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- Current food handler's card and MAST card
- Previous related experience preferred
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment
