EVENT CENTER BARTENDER
We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Center Bartender to join our team at PENN Entertainment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, serving a diverse guest base while supporting event operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Enter orders accurately and timely using the Micros system.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of events.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs.
- Follow service steps as outlined in the training manual.
- Total bills and process payments according to Food and Beverage controls.
- Communicate guest comments or concerns promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards, including HCCTR and OSHA guidelines.
- Deliver ACES Guest Service during every transaction.
- Maintain professional grooming and appearance.
- Participate regularly in scheduled Event Center events.
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain valid WV Racing License, Food Handlers permit, and TIPS certification.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve routine problems.
- Must qualify for West Virginia Racing Commission licensing.
- Obtain and maintain Food Handler Certification and TIPS certification.
- Ability to work a non-consistent schedule.
