Job Title: Bartender

Location: Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town

We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our growing food and beverage team at a vibrant hotel property in Old Town Scottsdale. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience and is eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests courteously and provide friendly, professional service.
Accurately take, prepare, and serve food and beverage orders according to company standards.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and local liquor laws, including checking guest identification and monitoring alcohol consumption.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including restocking supplies, clearing tables, and washing barware.
Handle cash and POS procedures accurately to close guest checks.
Follow company policies and emergency procedures.
Assist with inventory management and complete required documentation promptly.
Work collaboratively with team members to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

Minimum one year of bartending experience.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Title IV Liquor and Food Handlers Certification, or ability to obtain.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift and connect kegs up to 150 pounds.
Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Requires balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for extended periods, walking long distances, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive hand/wrist motions.
Exposure to indoor extreme heat (above 100 degrees for extended periods).
