**Title:** Cocktail Server

**Summary:** Provide cocktail and beverage service to guests in the lounge, high limit tables, and poker areas.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

Ensure guests receive the highest level of professional and consistent service.
Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort positively.
Communicate daily with Beverage Management.
Take beverage orders, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Describe featured wines, spirits, and promotions confidently and answer guest questions.
Greet and engage with guests to suggest or take cocktail orders.
Replenish beverages as requested and check guest satisfaction frequently.
Carry a 12–15 inch tray containing hot and cold food items.
Perform service steps and maintain service standards.
Practice safety and sanitation techniques.
Obtain TIPS certification and Guest Service Training within 90 days of employment.
Perform bussing, side work, and duties assigned by management.
Communicate basic knowledge about the casino resort.
Follow RICH and Food & Beverage standards.
Navigate POS system to place orders, enter modifiers, and split checks.
Perform self-banking duties including handling Offline Acres, Officer Comps, Business Comps, Food Vouchers, credit cards, cash, and other payments; reconcile paperwork and perform proper drops with minimal variance.
Maintain pantry organization according to standards.
Clean all areas as required.

**Supervisory Responsibilities:** This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Qualifications:**

High school diploma or GED and at least three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and coworkers.
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the ability to interpret graphs.
Ability to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
Must obtain TIPS certification.
Must hold a Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.

**Physical Demands:**

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
Frequent tasting or smelling.
Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

**Work Environment:**

Exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke regularly.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
Noise level usually moderate.
