Bartenders assist in the day-to-day operation of the theatre bar area, including maintaining cleanliness, organization, safety, and maintenance. They prepare and serve drinks to guests while delivering the ultimate moviegoing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to all company policies/procedures and state/federal liquor laws and regulations, ensuring all bar staff do the same.
- Know all items sold at the bar with the ability to answer questions, make recommendations, and upsell.
- Monitor excessive alcohol consumption of guests.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of alcohol service experience in a bar setting.
- Completion of the Responsible Vendor training course and certification exam with a passing score is mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Working knowledge of state and local liquor laws.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
Wage Details: Starting rate is $16.90/hr for all Bartenders, except those with prior Harkins experience who may start up to $17.40/hr.
