Bartender
Job Description
Silver Creek Valley Country Club, located in San Jose, CA, is pleased to offer a part-time Bartender position. We seek a motivated individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Pay: $18.45 - $35.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Process payments
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customer preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout shifts
- Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of bartending experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with alcohol service laws
Other Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
- Alcohol Awareness Training
