Title: Barback
Location: San Vicente Santa Monica - Santa Monica, CA 90401 Salary Range: $19.61 - $20.22 per hour

Position Purpose: The Barback supports bartenders by ensuring they have everything needed for efficient service, including clean glassware, prepared garnishes, and well-stocked liquor, beer, spirits, ice, napkins, and straws. They maintain a tidy service area, clean spills or broken glass, and restock supplies from storage as necessary.
While barbacks do not typically make drinks or take orders, they must demonstrate efficiency, organization, multitasking skills, and strong menu knowledge of food and beverages.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel. A current Serve Safe Food Handler Card is required.
