Title: Bartender

Location: Denver International Airport

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay within the range of $11.75 - $15.00 per hour, plus tips. Comp rate $15.79, Benefit rate $20.00.

Summary: The Bartender is responsible for greeting customers, taking drink and food orders, mixing cocktails and other beverages according to recipes, serving beer and other drinks, and processing transactions. They ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar while communicating any issues or ticket times to managers and servers. The role requires providing excellent customer service and adhering to all company policies regarding alcohol service, cash handling, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and take food and beverage orders; provide product information and upsell where appropriate
Follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages
Collect payments and operate cash registers following company cash handling policies
Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests appropriately
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies
Communicate effectively with management and team members

Requirements:

Must meet the state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
At least 1 year of bartending experience; experience in high-volume or fast-casual dining preferred
Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques
Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing with good interpersonal skills
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions and policies
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
Experience with cash handling and customer service preferred
Frequent immersion of hands in water and diluted chemical solutions
