Job Description
Position Summary: Oversee lounge operations, including beverage service for both bar and restaurant areas. Maximize profitability, control costs, and ensure Ethan Allen Hotel quality standards are met while providing 100% guest satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily beverage and food service activities for bar/lounge and restaurant outlets.
- Accurately prepare all drinks and spirits ordered by guests.
- Prepare and stock the bar for service.
- Attend pre-meal meetings with kitchen staff for specials and menu updates.
- Greet guests at bar and tables, taking all food and drink orders.
- Assist in preparing seasonal and daily cocktail lists aligned with current trends.
- Maintain proper sanitation of bar areas.
- Observe and enforce TIPS guidelines.
- Comply with all state and Liquor Commission regulations.
- Enter orders into the Micros POS system.
Hotel-Specific Essential Functions:
- Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance if needed.
- Ability to bend frequently during shifts.
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively with guests.
- Flexibility to assist other departments as needed.
- Comply with all hotel policies and procedures, including attendance and attire.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Technology and Equipment:
- POS System/Micros System
