Job Title: Bartender
Location: Stamford, CT 06901 Position Type: Part-Time Salary: $8.23 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an outstanding guest drinking experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating classic and innovative drinks that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and recommend beverages accordingly
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar and food menus
- Verify customers’ identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Deliver excellent guest service with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Proven bartending experience with knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Proficiency with POS systems (Toast experience is a plus)
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain bar organization and cleanliness
- TIPS certification or ability to obtain certification
