Job Description
Deerfield Golf Club, located in Newark, DE, is pleased to offer a part-time Banquet Bartender position. We seek a motivated individual eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare function sites and ensure meeting rooms are set according to specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests following established guidelines.
- Set dining tables, buffets, and service areas according to Banquet Event Orders or directions.
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet or catering kitchens, coolers, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory control and monitor waste in the banquet or catering area.
- Anticipate guest needs to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow safe work practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, plus one to three months of banquet setting and service experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
- ServSafe certification.
- Demonstrated energy, motivation, and reliable attendance.
