Title: Bartender

Salary Range: $19.16 - $23.95 per hour

Position Summary: The Restaurant Bartender provides professional beverage and food service to Neiman Marcus customers in a warm and accommodating manner, upholding the company’s high standards.

Responsibilities:

Serve and interact with customers professionally and graciously
Use comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology to inform customers about menu items
Support smooth bar operations utilizing POS and ticket systems
Demonstrate expertise in beer, wine, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
Follow accounting procedures for all transactions and maintain familiarity with the POS system
Clean and maintain the restaurant and workstation before, during, and after shifts
Perform physical duties such as lifting tables, chairs, and highchairs as needed
Maintain highest hygiene standards, including wearing clean uniforms and keeping hair and nails professionally styled to avoid contamination

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience in food and beverage service with knowledge of proper table service guidelines
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of table settings, food, and beverage service standards
Physically able to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
